Sniffing using Cain and Abel

What is it?

Cain & Abel is a password recovery tool for Microsoft Operating Systems. It allows easy recovery of various kind of passwords by sniffing the network, cracking encrypted passwords using Dictionary, Brute-Force and Cryptanalysis attacks, recording VoIP conversations, decoding scrambled passwords, recovering wireless network keys, revealing password boxes, uncovering cached passwords and analyzing routing protocols.

How to use?
1) Download & install
2) On opening it, a windows firewall block may pop up, allow it.
3) Click on the 'Sniffer' tab then click on Start/Stop Sniffer (the second icon in the toolbar, next to open) & right click in the empty fields to choose 'Scan Mac Addresses'. Click OK and leave it to scan for all connected IP's.
4) When done, right click on an IP address you would like to sniff out and choose 'Get hostname'. You may do this for all of them just to make it easier on what one you wanna choose.
5) Now click on the 'APR' tab down the bottom & select 'APR' on the left sidebar (it has a list coming off it) then just click in and empty field on the top area next to it and then click the Blue PLUS / + and select your Router's IP on the left and your target's IP on the right and click OK.
6) Now next to the Start/Stop Sniffer button you clicked, is a Nuke icon named 'Start/Stop APR'. On clicking it, you'll be able to poison your target. This means that you can view anything that they will do.
7) Click on the Passwords tab on the bottom of the program, then click on HTTP on the left in the list and you can now view EVERY bit of login details sent from the targets IP.
